The 45ft shipping container is the giant of all containers, giving an extra 5ft in length over the commonly available 40ft container, and an additional foot in height on the high cube model. Most 45ft used shipping containers are also “pallet wide”, meaning the internal width allows for two standard 4ft pallets to be accommodated in the container side by side.
