Flat Pack Components

Floor: Pre-fitted 18mm grade 3 ‘Norbord’ Canadian Sterling Board screwed to a galvanised steel profile frame.

Chassis: Box profile galvanised steel

Side Walls & Roof Panel: 0.6 mm box profile galvanized steel panels. The panels have been strengthened and galvanized steel frame sections at the edges of each panel. The roof section has two integral gutters for effective rainwater dispersal to all four corners of the container.

Door Panel: 0.6 mm box profile galvanized steel panel. The door is mounted into the frame with stainless steel hinges. Complete with two 64mm Euro deadlocks with replaceable cylinders and a central roller catch. Single Door width: 1250mm, hinged on the right, outward opening. (Double door option available – width: 1900mm)

Fastening Elements: Four 12 mm diameter rods are used to connect the roof to the chassis. These also form lifting eyes for use with a crane. Additional roof security bolts are supplied to prevent external access to the man-portable building.

Packing: All components of the Expandastore man-portable building are specially packed to ensure that they are not damaged during transportation, loading and unloading under normal circumstances. The smallest transportation cube is achieved in this packing process.

Standard colours are blue and green, but other colours may be available upon request, with an extended lead time.

A single door is standard on all containers, but doors can be fitted in the side, and double side doors are also available, with a lead time of 8-10 weeks.

We are able to offer low price delivery rates on flat pack products, as they are transported in bulk in a compact form. We also hold them in stock at regional depots across the country, giving you a substantial discount wherever you live. Flat pack containers are typically delivered on a 26 tonne rigid lorry with a hiab crane to offload, and all deliveries are made curb-side. Although flat pack containers are designed to fit into difficult spaces, the vehicle will still need to have good access and sufficient room for the crane to setup and offload. If the delivery vehicle can’t get quite where you need it, all components of the container can be carried separately. These units are completely man-portable! To keep delivery rates competitive and cost effective, flat pack containers are quoted based on a shared delivery rate. This means we are unable to guarantee a specific time.
